William “Bill” Horton, 44, of Brookland, Texas passed away in Galveston, Texas on Friday, February 14, 2020 after a courageous battle with illness.
A long-time resident of Brookland, Bill was born in Woodville, Texas on March 10, 1975 to Deborah and Johnny Horton Jr. He grew up in a small town in east Texas and had a love of fishing, camping and playing bass guitar. Bill spent 20 years as a long-haul truck driver traveling the country.
He is preceded in death by his mother Deborah Horton; grandparents Walter and Lois Alston; grandmother Dorothy Ann Jones; and grandfather Johnny Horton Sr.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 21 years Tiffany Horton; son Nathan Horton; daughter Riley Horton all of Brookland, Tx; his father Johnny Horton Jr and wife Denise of Port Arthur, Tx; step-sisters Stacy Migues and husband Mike of Groves, Tx, and Christina Rhoden of Port Arthur, Tx, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 905 Shady Ln, Jasper, Tx 75951
