Roy Earl McGar

Roy Earl McGar, 71, passed away at his home in Brookeland on Saturday, February 13, 2021.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Roy Earl McGar II and wife Amelia, Christopher Edward McGar and wife Elizabeth; his brother, Johnny Hightower and wife Shirley; his sister, Barabra Faye Quinn; his grandchildren, ReAnna McGar, Roy Earl McGar III and Katherine LeAnn McGar.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Thelma McGar; and his lovely wife, Katherine Darlene McGar.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 from 1:30-2:30PM at Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 601 W Gibson Jasper, TX 75951. The funeral service will follow and begin at 2:30PM at Forest Oaks Funeral Home with internment to follow the funeral at My Little Corner of the World Cemetery in Brookeland.

In consideration of the health and safety of the family and friends, all social distancing practices and facial covering recommendations will be observed for all services.
