Lloyd Graham Davis, of Newton, Texas, entered into eternal rest at the age of 95, on November 6, 2023. Graham passed away surrounded by his loved ones. His memory will always be carried on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Mr. Davis started his career at the age of 15 in the oilfields driving an oil rig. He purchased his own oil rig when he was 21 years old and began his own business. He traveled the country drilling wells until he retired in 2018. Graham accepted JESUS CHRIST as his LORD and SAVIOR on July 24, 2008. He was a member of The Missionary Baptist Church.
Graham's hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening, and watching old Westerns.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Helen Davis of Newton, Texas; his two children, Lana Davis Meadows of Jackson, Alabama and Micky Davis Long, of Houston, Texas; 3 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; along with a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
Preceding Graham in death were his parents, Lee Justice and Lula May Davis; brothers, Tillman, Jeff, Elton, and Woodrow; and sister, Ruby Lee Cornes.

A memorial will be held at Union Missionary Baptist Church in Newton, Texas on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 2pm.
