Mrs. Juanita Morales Guzman, 88, of Jasper, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 while in the compassionate care of Harbor Hospice in Jasper, TX.
Juanita was a beautiful mother, wife, daughter, sister, and grandmother who had a heart overflowing with love for her precious family. Her family was her treasure, and nothing made her smile more, or brought quite as much joy, as they did. She especially adored the time she spent with her grandchildren. Juanita truly enjoyed cooking for her family as often as possible. Some of her favorite things were traveling with her adoring husband Johnny, and faithfully attending church on Sundays. She was a special woman who will be missed dearly, but her memory will be treasured in the hearts of those who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Nicholas Morales; mother, Manuela Villareal; brother, Ciriacio Morales; and brother, Isabel Camacho.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Johnny Collaso; daughter, Irma Morales Dowden; sisters, Marqanita Camarqo, and Lile Gonzalez; half-sisters, Dominqa Gonzalez, Juanita Garzes, and Maria Casias; grandchildren, Jennifer Dowden, Rachel Dowden and husband Frankie Jones, and Clayton Dowden and wife Kelsey; great-grandchildren, Gavin Bebee, Kevin Bebee, Jonathan Bebee, Andrew Martinez, Keegan Castro, and Clayton Dowden Jr.
