Dr. David Warden Morris, PhD, 92, of Jasper, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 15, 2022, in Newton, Texas. David was born on Saturday, July 22, 1922, in Port Arthur, Texas to Mr. Walter Morris and Mrs. Ida Belle (Warden) Morris. An accomplished and dedicated man, David obtained his PhD in Psychology and went on to teach as a professor for many years in addition to owning his own business. David was married to Marta Counsuela (Zetina) Morris until the day he died and was a loving father. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Dr. David Warden Morris, PhD, will be laid to rest at West Oaks Cemetery in Jasper, TX on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at a graveside service honoring his faith at 10:00am.
