Cinda Danna Obituary

Cinda Lee Black Danna, 70, of Jasper passed away peacefully at home on Friday, December 4, 2020. Cinda was born on February 4, 1950 in Beaumont, Texas to her parents, L. J. Black and Anita Smith Black and was one of four children. Cinda was best described as a wonderful wife, devoted mother, loving sister, and best friend; she spent her entire life loving and helping others. Cinda was good with computers and loved the ability to connect with new people that working on computers afforded her, especially as she spent more time at home in her later years. Cinda was married to the love of her life, Milton Paul Danna, for more than 49 years and was the best teammate and partner Milton could have asked for. Cinda and Milton had three children that they raised together and were blessed with five beautiful grandchildren to spoil as well. When not taking care of Milton or spoiling her grandchildren, Cinda loved to practice her scales on her most prized possession, her baby grand piano. Cinda had a sweet disposition and a kind word for almost anyone she met and her bright light will be missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband Milton Paul Danna of Jasper; her children, Nikki La’Rae Danna of Jasper, Connie Kelly of Indiana, and Chad Christopher Danna of Jasper; her sister and best friend Sherry Ann Compton of Woodville; and her grandchildren, Breann Danna, Ty Pillitte, Alexis Pillitte, Richard Patterson, and Robert Smitty; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Cinda is preceded in death by her parents L. J. Black and Anita Smith Black; and her siblings, Gary Black, and Donna Black.

The family plans to have a Celebration of Life for Cinda at a later date. Cremation services have been entrusted to Forest Oaks Funeral Home.
