Marcella Burleson Carpenter 91 of Jasper passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013at Rosewood Assisted Living #1. Memorial services where held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday August 2, 2013 at Rosewood Assisted Living located at 41 Chestnut Circle in Jasper, TX. a Native of Texas, she was a former resident of Joliet, IL before moving to Jasper, a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She is survived by a dear friend Bonnie Russell of Jasper, TX. Private interment will be held at Holton Cemetery.
