FORREST RAY "WHITT" WHITTLESEY

Mr. Forrest Ray "Whitt" Whittlesey of Tyler died Tuesday December 17, 2013 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. Whitt was born in Jasper, TX September 23, 1933 to Forrest and Kate Whittlesey. He graduated from Jasper High School and Northwestern State University of Louisiana and was a proud former Marine. He was an active member of Lake Tyler Baptist Church. There will be a visitation at Forest Oaks Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday with a funeral service to be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Forest Oaks Funeral Home Chapel and Burial will be at Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife Peggy of Tyler, brother A.B. Whittlesey of Houston, Children Valerie and Jim Reynolds of Richardson, Katherine and Ted Whaley of Trophy Club and Kristin and Daniel Mayo of Erie, CO. Grandchildren Patrick and Jake Whaley of Tyler, Steven and Kevin Van Gundy of Trophy Club, Kayleigh and Kira Reynolds both of Richardson.
