David Dempsey Obituary

Mr. David Jeremiah Dempsey, age 42, of Kirbyville, Texas, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018, in Lufkin, Texas.

Mr. Dempsey was born Oct. 27, 1975, in Dayton, Texas. He formerly lived in Weslaco, Texas, where he graduated from high school. He later became a longtime resident of Baytown, Texas, until recently moving to the Kirbyville area. David had worked as a manager of a tatoo business.

His survivors include Charlsie Mitchell of Kirbyville; his parents, Renay and Gabe Martinez; children, Damien Dempsey, Devin Dempsey, Darrien Dempsey, Emmalee Ray, and Tristan Mitchell; a granddaughter, Jenaya Jane Dempsey; brothers, Thomas J. Thrash and Donovan Dempsey; and a sister, Michelle Martinez.

A private family memorial is being planned.
